A BRIEF INTRODUCTION…

Alice and her sister sit in the darkness singing about the night; a Beautiful Night, Oh Night of Love…

But when Alice loses her sister and is tricked into wandering into Wonderland things take a turn for the worse. Can she survive the advances of the Caterpillar man, who wishes to add her to his pressed butterfly collection?? Or the Siamese twins TweedleDee and TweedleDum, who adore her so much they decide to eat her? Will the crazed drunkards at The Mad Hatter’s tea party listen to her? And can she escape the guillotine when she is accused of stealing the Queen of Heart’s Jam Tarts…??

Opera Warwick journey into a Wonderland with their first devised opera pastiche, based on Alice’s Adventures and including everyone’s favourite Operatic arias, duets and Choruses in English translation.

From The Toreador Song to the Flower Duet, and If Ever I Would Leave You to The Duet For Two Cats. We are giving you the opportunity to sing the hugely popular to the utterly obscure, from Handel to Walton, Mozart to Sondheim, from the most delicate aria to the biggest, juiciest chorus.
